It all started with Mary Pat (MP for short -- although she is not).
She had lots of pots and plants. She especially liked pots with character-- you know the kind we mean-- from Auntie's house, from neighbors backyards-- the kind with moss and imperfections and lovely personalities. Well, she ran out of these pots, so she started making her own. And she knew just what her succulents wanted, too. She made them shallow and porous, with lots of drainage. And then she started making more stuff, too. Like mugs. And notecards. And lots more--all with her signature Lanikai style.

the 3 p's Plant perfect pots are also porous and porcelain
Handmade with fine porcelain clay as white as the sands of Lanikai beach, our quick drying porous pots are made especially for succulents and tillandsia (air plants). Mary Pat has designed them for good drainage (with plenty holes on the bottom) and little round feet to allow water to easily seep out. Each pot is one-of-a-kind... using various glazes, techniques and finishes. Some hand-painted with hand-pressed etchings. Some with sculptural shapes, graphic designs and textures. A work of art alone, a masterpiece when happy plants are added. Hand-built, hand-potted and grown in Lanikai.
